SEUN FAKUADE

 

Seun Fakuade is committed to supporting institutions and governments in achieving their development aspirations as a development policy wonk, project management and governance specialist with over fifteen years of experience in public policy, strategic planning, project management, technology and innovation, policy communications, and infrastructure development.

He conceptualized and designed public sector innovation frameworks that can improve government efficiency through digital technology innovation including Citizen/Resident Innovation Management Project, a Digital Ekiti Initiative concept plan. This has lead to the start of a Digital Governance Policy Framework, and Data Governance Policy Plan, and kickstarted e-governance solution projects including digitization and archiving within the state. 

 

In addition, he has worked as Project Coordinator/Lead Project Implementation Unit of the Ekiti Knowledge Zone. Where he worked with the AfDB in the project preparation pre-feasibility and design of the EKZ), the Project Supervisor of the EKSG Geographic Information Systems (GIS) project; served as a member of the Technical Committee for GRID3, Member of the LAMP, as well as leading the formulation, drafting, and design of the 30-Year State Economic Strategic Development Plan for Ekiti State.

 

Prior to joining the EKSG, Mr. Fakuade worked as head of Policy, Lead Economist and Governance at Brice & Quade, an economic intelligence and risk management research firm in Abuja. As a consultant on government economic projects and corporate business initiatives; and he was Principal Partner and Lead Creative at Bedazzle Media, a Creative and Ad agency leveraging creative tools for public communications.
